365 days of direction

Happy holidays and a very beautiful welcome into the new year. I want to say a big thank you for all the love and support i got last year, i really do appreciate it.

2018 was a really tough year( i’ve lost count of how many times i’ve said this),i lost a lot and honestly looking back now,i am grateful for those things i lost. The year was emotionally draining but it also kickstarted my journey as a blogger and writer .

2018 taught me the essence of planning ahead of time and i will be doing a lot of that this year.

I went home ( Nigeria ) on the 29th of december for the holiday and i never knew how much i needed home till i saw my family at the airport waiting for me with smiles on their faces, it was such an overwhelming moment and before i knew it, i was crying.I was welcomed home with a beautiful plate of ofada and assorted meat, and for the first time in a long time i felt at peace.

My friends came over to my place for the new year and i was so happy i brought in the new year with friends and family.

Finally, the new year, 365 days and 365 opportunities . Whenever I think about 2019, i think growth, positivity and a bigger platform. Like i said earlier, i’ll be doing a lot of planning this year in order to ensure that i achieve everything on my plate.

I plan on doing things bigger this year and you should have seen how happy i was when my mum got me a planner for the year. It was a first step to starting my journey this year and I couldn’t be more grateful

I have a lot of things planned for this year and i’ll be sharing a few of them with you.

  1. Praying more
  2. Putting more effort into my work ( school, blog and other things i’d be doing this year)
  3. Staying positive no matter what the situation might look like
  4. Taking more time to look after my physical and mental health.
  5. Expanding my brand
  6. Supporting my creative friends because their success is my success.

Now that i’ve given you an idea of what my 2019 will look like, let me know what you plan on doing this year in the comments. Do you have a plan for the year?
